When you live in Washington, DC, there’s certainly no shortage of things to do. We definitely have museums, monuments, and festivals aplenty. There’s also no shortage of things to do with the kids. Not that I’m complaining!

During the muggy, humid DC summers, it’s always nice to escape indoors. So there are only a handful of museums in the city that we haven’t been to (numerous times), and Madame Tussauds is one of them. The kids were always a little creeped out by the statues. I think this might be the summer to go, though.

The DC version of this famous wax museum is one of 5 (soon to be 6) in the United States. Sure, it has all the standard celebrities, but I’m most interested in checking out the Presidents Gallery–they have all 44 presidents–which is unique to this location.
