This week, we’re joined by Star Wars author, travel writer, and explorer Adam Bray! Adam is the author of several beautiful books from DK, including Star Wars: What Makes a Monster?, Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide, and the brand-new Ultimate Star Wars.

We chat a bit about Adam’s background in travel writing, how he came to write for Star Wars, and what it’s like to pitch a new Star Wars idea. We go a little in-depth with his newest book, the gorgeous Ultimate Star Wars, which is just about the prettiest encyclopedia you’ve ever seen, and Adam shares what it feels like to (officially) add history and backstory to the Star Wars canon.

Looking forward a little, Adam’s book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know will be coming out from DK in September and is part of that publisher’s “Journey to The Force Awakens” campaign. So keep an eye out for that.
