Witness the Birth and Evolution of a Genius: Three Early Makoto Shinkai Films Land on Blu-ray June 16, 2022
To celebrate the release of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World on every home media imaginable (digital, DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, and on-demand), we’re giving away some of the best toys made for the franchise – nay, some of the best toys made in recent memory: Playmobil’s Dragons. For those following along at home, we’ve done detailed reviews of the first two waves of sets Playmobil released, which were mostly based on the Netflix show Dragons: Race to the Edge. And then a few months ago, we took an in-depth look at the most recent sets, which are based on the third film in the trilogy. If you’re a fan of the films, show, and franchise, the playability of these toys is endless. The quality and attention to detail here are staggering. Keep in mind we opened these toys BEFORE the movie released (so give us a break and don’t be like all those YouTube commenters who made us disable comments): (I also chatted with How to Train Your Dragon author Cressida Cowell here and the showrunners for Race to the Edge here. Give them a listen!) But you’re here for the giveaway, right? Playmobil has been generous enough to give us two sets to give away to one lucky winner. Enter using the widget below, and you could win Hiccup & Toothless with Baby Dragon AND Light Fury with Baby Dragon and Children. Good luck! This giveaway is now over. Thanks for entering!
