I consider Back to the Future to be a perfect movie. I get odd looks at times, but I seriously think it has one of the best scripts ever written. It works on every level and after many (many) rewatches, I can still find some element that I missed before. I had never shown it to my 11-year-old. I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment. Well, a few sick days from school (Darth Vader came down from the planet Vulcan and melted his brain) gave me the opportunity. He ended up being out for three days, so naturally I showed him all three. Might as well give him the full experience. Listen in as we discuss all three movies, time travel, and his favorite of the series (and the bad life choices he makes when ranking movies)! http://traffic.libsyn.com/bodaciouslyawesomefamilyshow/Back_to_the_Future__Done.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | Download I wasn’t fully prepared for the results. I know I need to let him make his own decisions but… having Part 2 as his favorite? It just doesn’t make any sense! Luckily, the power of love means I won’t disown him. Yet. Remember, you can find other movie review episodes of the podcast right here on The Roarbots: Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Alita: Battle Angel. In the weeks that follow, I’ll continue to post new and old episodes from our show. Let us know if there are experiences you’d like us to take on for you. If you leave us a comment on iTunes with your name, we’ll give you a special shout out on a future show. You also can connect with the show on Facebook and Twitter. You Might Also Like...
