It’s not often that you hear “murder mystery” and instantly think “family-friendly movie.” That said, the folks over at Prolific Pictures want to change that with their upcoming feature film Debunkers, Inc. starring Josh Pinkowski and Izzy Pollak. We were offered an exclusive clip of the flick and once we checked out the trailer (also shared below), we just knew we had to share!

According to the movie’s synopsis:

The Debunkers are a band of amateur detectives, who will do anything to become heroes (and make a buck while they’re at it). and the self-proclaimed “premiere Mystery Debunking business in the state of California.”

These boys are willing to fake it till they make it, and so far they’ve solved only a handful of petty mysteries, but they’re about to get the assignment of a lifetime. During their first day of senior year of high school, two desperate girls, Heather and Joyce, call upon their help to solve the mystery of the murder of their friend, Nina Galanosa. The Debunkers, eager as ever to prove themselves, quickly agree, but soon begin to deal with expectations of reality.
