The Best of Jiminy Crickets - Darby O'Gill and the Little People

This week, Jiminy Crickets is proud to present an entry from our library of past episodes. Once a month, we will be highlighting one of our legacy shows in “The Best of Jiminy Crickets.”

Our first installment is a timely one. Two years ago, we discussed a classic 1959 live-action Walt Disney fantasy adventure set on the Ol’ Emerald Isle, Darby O’Gill and the Little People. This amazing film is all about the magic of leprechauns and other Irish legends, so we felt it was a perfect episode to kick off this “best of” series in honor of the upcoming St Patrick’s Day holiday.

The show opens with some Disney news headlines from March 2017, so you’ll enjoy a little blast from the past before we get into the main topic. Also, my cohosts at the time were Todd Horan and Will Dodson. Ruthie had not yet joined the team.

Chris Lyndon grew up in Southern California, near Disneyland.
