ShareTweet 0 Ahead of today’s livestream presentation (which I’m live-tweeting over at @roarworthy on Twitter!) Hasbro let drop a few new figures coming out this year for the Spider-Man Maximum Venom series on Disney XD. I expect there to be a lot more Marvel figures shown at today’s livestream on Hasbro Pulse’s Facebook page, but this is a very satisfying tease of what’s to come. Titan Hero Venomized Figures Large and in charge (Image: Hasbro) Once derided for their lack of detail and poor posability, 12-inch Titan Hero figures have come a long way. They’re still not the most poseable figures (that would be the 6-inch Legends), but the sculpts are much more dynamic. Additional play features also make these a lot of fun for any fan. Ghost-Spider and Miles look fantastic and I absolutely love the clip-on symbiote details for Captain America. Venom Burst Figures You had me at real barfing action (Image: Hasbro) These blind-bag mini figures are even better than your standard “surprise” figure. Not only does each Venom Burst package have a squishy, ooze-filled, stylized Venomized character inside, you can squeeze them so that they barf out another random figure. There are over a dozen figures to collect in all. 12.5-inch Venom Ooze Figure Here to terrorized adults! (Image: Hasbro) It wouldn’t be a Venom-themed line without the big guy himself. Not only can you fill this 12.5 Venom up with purple ooze that then drips out of his mouth, you can flick his tongue back and forth to fling the slime everywhere! It’s going to be an absolute blast to play with (and a nightmare for parents to clean up). Iron Man Venomized Set Pew-pew-pew (Image: Hasbro) Oddly, there’s no Venomized Iron Man in the first wave of Titan Hero or Legends figures, but you can at least strap on a Venomized version of ol’ shell-head’s mash and blaster. The design is impressive and I’m really hoping we’ll see more before the year is out (or maybe revealed later today?) Marvel Legends Yeah, you’re going to want them all (Image: Hasbro) The best figures are the ones coming out this fall (why are the coolest figures always the ones coming out last?). 6-inch Legends figures of Captain American, Ghost-Spider, and Miles Morales will be hitting this shelves later this year. The sculpting is amazing and makes me hope we get even more Venomized figures in the line (there are usually at least 6 figures in a wave, after all). You Might Also Like...
