Willy Wonka Pinball Machine by Jersey Jack

Hot on the heels of Stern Pinball’s reveal of Black Knight: Sword of Rage at last month’s Texas Pinball Festival, Jersey Jack Pinball made a significant debut as well. A the Midwest Gaming Classic, the New Jersey-based company revealed the long-rumored Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory pinball machine to a small crowd of rabid fans of the silverball. Fortunately for those of us not able to attend the event or watch the seminar session, the folks at Straight Down the Middle shared an exclusive reveal of the Willy Wonka pinball table on YouTube.

As we see in the video, the new Willy Wonka pinball machine is designed by none other than industry legend Pat Lawlor, who is responsible for some of the best-selling titles in pinball such as The Addams Family, The Twilight Zone, and more. Together with programmer Joe Katz, they walk through the different features of the machine which include Lawlor’s signature 5-lane lower playfield and side flipper, plus new innovations such as the large backbox animations, a Gobstopper gobble-hole, a “Wonkavator,” and mini-screened “Wonkavision,” to name a few.

Games are available in three tiers: standard, LE, and Collector’s Edition. While Jersey Jack’s stable of titles is not as prolific as some would like, the games they make are high-quality, durable, and like the new Willy Wonka pinball machine, filled with a world of pure imagination. Be on the lookout for these machines at a gaming expo near you followed by on-location machines in the near future. For now, watch Jersey Jack’s promo trailer below:
