Have you recently found a TARDIS-sized hole in your heart? Now that the latest season of Doctor Who is over, are you scrambling for new content? Maybe you’d like to scratch a very specific itch? Perhaps with one of the best characters to inhabit the new Who universe?

Good news, fellow nerds! Catherine Tate is back as Donna Noble in an upcoming full-cast audio dramatization from Big Finish Productions. Donna Noble: Kidnapped! will also feature Jacqueline King (reprising her role as Donna’s mother, Sylvia) and Niky Wardley (playing Donna’s best friend from school, Natalie).

Donna Noble has come home. But she’s about to be whisked away by aliens – and they’re not as friendly as the Doctor!

After the trauma of the Library, Donna wants a break, to see old friends and family, to remind herself of normality.

Only Donna’s new normal involves trips through time and space and visiting alien worlds. So when she and BFF Nat start looking into strange abductions, they are dragged into a whole new universe of trouble.

The release includes four separate stories:

  • Out of this World by Jacqueline Rayner
  • Spinvasion by John Dorney
  • The Sorcerer of Albion by James Goss
  • The Chiswick Cuckoos by Matt Fitton

The audio drama will costar Isla Blair (An Englishman’s Castle, The Final Cut), Lydia West (Years and Years, Dracula), and a cameo by the Tenth Doctor himself, David Tennant!

Donna Noble: Kidnapped! is now available as a five-disc collector’s edition box set (it’s 300+ minutes) or digital download from just $19.99 at the Big Finish website.
