There’s so much amazing content available on streaming services these days that we won’t blame you if you’ve missed a few here and there. However, if you haven’t noticed it already, Netflix has been killing it with their original animated series. From She-Ra and the Princess of Power, to Trolls: The Beat Goes On, to Voltron: Legendary Defender, the network continues to add fantastic animated series that are fun for both kids and adults. Add to that list the new 10-episode series from DreamWorks Animation, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. Check out the brand new trailer below!

“It’s amazing. In just a day, I’ve seen enough wonders to fill a lifetime.” Sure, that’s a quote from the trailer, but since we’ve been previewing advanced screeners, it could also apply to the whole series. Check out the synopsis below and don’t miss Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts when it debuts on Netflix worldwide on January 14, 2020.

After spending her entire life living in an underground burrow, a young girl named Kipo (Karen Fukuhara) is thrust into an adventure on the surface of a fantastical post-apocalyptic Earth. She joins a ragtag group of survivors as they embark on a journey through a vibrant wonderland where everything trying to kill them is downright adorable. The series is created and executive produced by Radford Sechrist (How to Train Your Dragon 2) and executive produced and developed for television by Bill Wolkoff (The Man Who Fell To Earth).

The exciting trailer introduces Kipo’s post-apocalyptic, weird and whimsical setting as she’s separated from her family and must learn to navigate a peculiar and dangerous surface world full of absurdly cute, but deadly creatures! Luckily, she won’t have to do it alone!
