Explosions? Check. Terrorists? Check. Beefy military studs on a mission to take out the bad guys? That’s a copy.

If you were mourning that the time for summer blockbusters has passed and are counting down the days until the release of season 2 of Jack Ryan, I’ve got something else for you to look forward to. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the testosterone-oozing trailer for Rogue Warfare:

The name Saban may most commonly be associated with Power Rangers, but in 2014 Saban Films was established to make a wide variety of mid-level films. Some films like Shot Caller starring Game of Thrones‘ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau have received critical praise while other films find their audiences on streaming or at their local RedBox.

Since I only have the trailer to go off of right now, I’m not sure what level of success Rogue Warfare will reach, but I definitely know there’s an audience for this type of blow-em-up military movie. And based on the trailer, Rogue Warfare goes for the jugular.

Will Yun Lee (The Good Doctor, Hawaii Five-O) stars alongside Stephen Lang (Avatar) and others in this flick whose only description is:

A group of skilled military elite join forces to fight an underground terrorist network.

That description and the above trailer presumably tell you all you need to know about Rogue Warfare. If you like military might, then boom goes the dynamite! Check out Rogue Warfare in theaters, via digital release, and VOD October 4, 2019.
