My friend and fellow The Roarbots contributor, Shiri, and I as Kanan and Hera last year at ECCC.

Today is the one-year anniversary of the end of Star Wars Rebels. Rebels is easily my favorite slice of Star Wars – the characters and space family are my favorite of any movie, show, comic, book. Wanting to cosplay Kanan is the reason I grew my hair out in the first place (which has lead to a lot of other long-haired cosplaying).

I’ll be wearing Kanan at Emerald City Comic Con next week, and I’ll be bringing a brand-new prop with me that I finished just in time for this anniversary – Hera’s kalikori.

Without further rambling, please enjoy this gallery of my kalikori!

The kalikori was 3D modeled and printed, and then molds were made of all of the pieces. The entire thing is resin cast. I will be making a limited run of these and orders for them are available in my shop! The mask is made of foam, the lightsaber is 3D printed, and the costume I made from scratch.
